It is with profound sadness that we, the parents of Michael Scott at the age of 34 years, announce the sudden passing of our beautiful son on Saturday, July 16, 2016. He is predeceased by his sister Angie; grandparents Mike and Eileen Scott; precious Aunt Bettie Scott and his grandfather Joe Hynes. For those of us who truly knew Michael we are left to mourn the loss of a gentle soul, a kind heart and a brilliant mind with a good sense of humour. Mourning his loss are his parents Brian and Debbie (nee Hynes) Scott, his nan Dot Hynes, his devoted friends: Tony McFarlane, David Murphy, Franz Ekenweber, his special cousins Rebekah Peddle, and Peter Dillion, and colleagues at Northern Radar Systems, also numerous loyal friends, cousins, aunts and uncles of the Scott and Hynes families. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will held on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Barrett's Chapel, Mt. Pearl.
