Passed peacefully away on August 4, 2016 in the presence of her loving family, Mary McDonald of Salmonier Line, Holyrood. Predeceased by her husband Paddy, parents: Michael and Hannah Targett, her sister: Ethel Penney, baby sister: Florence, baby brother: Joseph, and infant granddaughter: Arlene Alcock. Left with find and loving memories are her daughters: Genevieve Kennedy (Kevin), Marion Alcock (Rob), Gladys and Hilda, grandchildren: Rob (Dana), Terry (Angie), Randy (Joan), Robyn (Rick), Corey (Jennifer), great-grandchildren: Kirk (Clare), Jacob, Cameron, Alayna, Ethan & Lucas, her sister Ethel's children who always held a very special place in her heart, her care giver: June Oake, her lifelong friends: Betty Lewis, Betty Bennett, Theresa and Peter Petten, Cyril and Betty Squires. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 6 & Sunday, August 7, from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral will take place on Monday, August 8, 2016 with 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial from Holy Cross Church, Holyrood. Interment will be in the family plot at Holy Cross Cemetery, Holyrood. Mom loved her cats and never went looking for them, they found her, and she adopted them. They never strayed from her unconditional love. She always had a warm and furry friend purring in her ear as she sat and knitted in her chair.
