Passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family, on August 5, 2016, at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home, St John's, NL, James "Jim" Kielly, of Point La Haye, S.M.B., aged 85 years. Last surviving child of Thomas & Honorah Kielly and predeceased by his granddaughter, Robyn. Leaving to mourn his loss, his loving wife of 58 years, Belle (nee Chidley), his children: Donna (Billy Lee), Brenda (David St. Croix), Colette (Joey Fleming), Arlene (Ross Piper), Neil (Wendy Fleming), Gail (Pat Connors), Eleanor (Dean Gulliver); grandchildren: Krista, Brandon, Hailey, Christopher, Danielle, Jared, Kyle, James, Zoe, Willis, and Isabella; great-grandchildren: Quentin, Alexandria, Mya and Jack and many nieces, nephews, a large extended family and wide circle of friends. A sincere thank you is extended to the staff at Agnes Pratt Nursing home for their care, compassion, understanding, and concern during the last four years. Visitation will be held at Gibbons' Funeral Home, St. Mary's, on Saturday, August 6, from 7 - 9pm and Sunday, August 7, 2 - 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 8, at 10 am, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary's. Burial to follow at St. Mary's.
