THOMAS MAY
It is with our heavy hearts that we regretfully announce the passing of our dear brother and uncle, Thomas (Tommy) May, brother of Ron May, Ben Eoin, Chris May, NorthSide East Bay, Jim May, Marjorie Bedard, Linda May, Audrey May, Betty Turenne, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his parents, Jesse and Stan May; brothers, Norman May, Stan May, Jerry May and sister, Hilda Perrigo.
Tommy passed away peacefully in his sleep, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, on Friday, August 5, 2016 after a long and courageous battle. Tommy was born May 14, 1943. Cremation has taken place and he will be laid to rest next to his parents in Cornwall, Ontario at a later date.
‘Life is but a stopping place, a pause in what’s to be, a resting place along the road to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys, different paths along the way, we all were meant to learn some things but never meant to stay.Our destination is a place, far greater than we know. For some the journey’s quicker, for some the journeys slow. And when the journey finally ends, we’ll claim a great reward and find an everlasting peace, together with the lord.’
