It is with heavy hearts that the families of Evelina Decker (nee Verge) announce her passing at the Bonne Bay Health Centre surrounded by her family, on Friday, August 12, 2016, at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Shawn, Jackie (Clem), and Boyce (Dot), grandchildren; Tazna (Travis), Reesa (Scott), Gator, Cindy (Ken), and Delina, her great grandchildren; Kallie, Leila, Jake, Rane, and Alexander, her siblings; Regina, and Nickie (Hazel), brothers-in-law; Aubrey (Mae), Henry (Rita), Anthony (Linda), and Edgar Brown, her sisters-in-law; Marion (Gerald), Annie, Serina (Issac), Marie, and Patsy (Lyman), her caregivers; Samanda Blanchard, and Dorothy Decker, her special lifelong friend; Almeda Thornhill, also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends. Evelina was predeceased by her husband; Alex Decker, parents; Dorothy and Fred Verge, brother; Ernest Verge, her in-laws; Mable and Thomas Decker, her brothers-in-law; Emmanuel Payne (Bride), Joseph Payne, and Ronald Parsons, and her sister-in-law; Eura Brown. The family will be receiving family and friends from St. Peter's Anglican Church in Parsons Pond, NL, on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the Memorial service will take place from on Wednesday, August 17th, 2016, at 2 pm, with Canon Rev Terry Rose, officiating with the burial to follow at the Church cemetery, in Parsons Pond, NL.
