Passed away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Thursday, August 11, 2016, Abe Welcher of Clarenville, formerly of New Wes Valley, aged 75 years. Predeceased by two sisters and three brothers. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Claudia of 52 years; sons Bruce (Carolann) and Brian (Jenn); grandsons Shane, Wes, Xavier and Shannon; great granddaughter Sophia; sister Sue; brothers Chesley (Hilda), Saul, Eric (Kathleen), Sam (Beulah) and Raymond (Charmaine); and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville on Saturday, August 13 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, August 14 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Clarenville with interment at Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery. In his memory flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
