It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden but peaceful passing of Vince O'Brien of Goulds. Predeceased by his parents Mike and Rita O'Brien, Cape Broyle, brothers Tom and Ron, sister Shirley, parents-in-law John and Agnes O'Keefe, Goulds, brother-in-law, Danny, also his best buddy Vince Barton. Leaving to mourn his wife Carol and their children Erin Sonley (Ron) Korbin, Angelique, and Londyn. Shane and his son Taylor and Branden (Jennifer Frampton), brothers Stan (Peg), Ferryland, Reg (Cathy), Alberta, Felix (Joy), Ontario, Gerry, St. John's, sisters Dot (Fred Grunsby), Arizona, Elizabeth (Ed Vardy), Mount Pearl, Marie (Brian Vaughn), sister-in-law Michelle Downey and her husband Jamie with whom he spent many enjoyable hours working at their many projects, numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and friends too many to count including his many shipmates with the Canadian Coast Guard. Resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls, Tuesday, August 16th from 2-9 pm and Wednesday August 17th from 2-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place from St. Kevin's RC Church, Goulds, on Thursday August 18th at 2 pm.
