ALFRED E. MACKEIGAN

Card of Thanks
Alfred E. MacKeigan

We would like to offer our sincere gratitude and love to the many friends and family of our beloved father, brother, uncle, and grandfather. We were touched by the many acts of kindness and caring we received during Dad’s lengthy illness and subsequent passing. Thank you for the visits, phone calls, cards, emails, and prayers. The delicious food brought to our home and to Chant’s, the lovely floral arrangements, and all the generous donations in his name were much appreciated. To everyone who attended his celebration of life; it was exactly what he wanted and your presence was exactly what we needed. Special thanks to those who traveled to be with us and to those across the miles who held us in their hearts and thoughts; we were all together in the memories, tears, and laughter. To the amazing staff of the New Waterford Homecare Service Society it is difficult to put into words how much your professionalism and compassion helped us but we will never forget it. Thank you to the nursing staff of the Regional’s Unit 4C. To Jill, Wendy, and Sheldon of Chant’s Funeral Home thank you for guiding us through this difficult time. Lastly we would like to thank our wonderful Dad for teaching us to love dogs and each other, for standing up for what was right and for laying on the floor to play, for the walks, drives, and talks filled with old stories and tall tales, for showing us how to work with our hands and give with our hearts, for the love of laughter, family, and song and above all for the magic of the path we are forever grateful.

Brian & Elaine George, the MacKeigan, George, and Youden Families
