It is with great sadness the family of Robert Batstone, age 70, announce his passing on Friday, Sept. 2nd at Pleasant View Towers. He leaves to mourn his loving wife and best friend of 43 years Lil (Parsons) and daughter Krista (Jamie). Predeceased by his parents Victor & Anna Batstone and brother Doug Batstone. Leaving to mourn his brother David (Judith), Sisters Patsy, Lorraine and Sandra (Steve), brothers in law Fred (Lorraine), Carson (Bernette), Bob (Mary), Irving (Lili), Bill (Press), Melvin (Marg), Cliff, Ken (Rhoda) and sister in law, Ann. His many nieces and nephews, great nieces & nephews, large extended family and circle of friends. Family and friends may visit Cauls Funeral Home on Monday, September 5th from 2:00-5:00 pm & 7:00-9:00 pm. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 6th at 2:00 pm at Cauls Chapel. Internment will follow at Holy Sepulchre. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to Heavenly Creatures or Branch Out Neurological Foundation.
