It is with sadness that we announce that Joan (74) passed away on, September 1, 2016, in St Catharines Ont. Born in Glace Bay Nova Scotia on, September 27, 1941, Joan was one of twelve children born to the late Joseph Macneil (Glace Bay) and Sarah Sadie Macneil (Royal) of Neils Harbour. Joan lived her life in Ontario as though she was still in Cape Breton happily playing her accordion and listening to Gaelic and country music in the kitchen. She is survived by children, Marie, Joey, Jerry, Larry, Ronnie, Linda, Louise and Danny, as well blessed with 26 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband, Orville Pushie and sons, Ewan and Gordie. Joan will be sadly missed by many but never forgotten.
