Clyde "Bob" Wright
WRIGHT, Clyde “Bob” - in his 92nd year, passed away peacefully on September 8th, 2016. As a veteran of World War II, he was a proud and active member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Clementsport, where he was awarded a Lifetime Membership. Bob was predeceased by his son Timothy “TC” and is survived by his wife, Vivian, his son Gerry and two daughters Chrystal and Melody; as well as 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A social and loyal man, Bob could always be found surrounded by friends and family. He shared his love of music through playing guitar and his beautiful bass voice. Bob attended the 55+ Senior Games on numerous occasions, where he won a Gold Medal for bridge with his wife, Vivian, and a Bronze Medal for crib with his son, Gerry. During WWII, Bob made an elusive 29 point hand, which was written up in the London Times. Bob also achieved a Hole-In-One during a golf tournament. Bob enjoyed life and lived every day to the fullest. A Legion Service will be held on Friday, September 16th, 2016 at 4:30 pm at Branch #122 Clementsport Legion. Reception to follow.
