
Lawrence Morrison
Born: September 3rd, 1934
Born September 3, 1934 to Murdock Angus (d.1973) and Sarah Kate (MacDonald) (d.1996) in North Framboise Richmond county. Lawrence worked the family farm and cut pulp in his younger years. In 1952 he began working for Mindimar Metals at the Stirling Mine. Following the closure of the mine, he began working for the Department of Highways in various jobs and later become the Snowplow driver, a job which he retired from in 1999. Lawrence was an excellent backyard mechanic and was always working on new project. He was an avid stock-car and antique car buff and seldom missed the races at Riverside speedway. Lawrence was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth, in Huston , B.C. only eighteen hours earlier. Following his car accident, in 2007, Lawrence became a resident of the MacGillirvary Guest Home in Sydney. He is survived by his Sister, Wilma (Neil) MacDonald and three Nephews, Scott (Karen) MacDonald, their Children, Coady and Victoria, Calgary, Alberta, Greg, Sydney, Sheldon (AnnaBelle) MacDonald and their Family, Antigonish.
Cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation. A memorial Service for Lawrence will be held at a later date
