With broken hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Cody William Bruce Dixon in his 24th year. Cody’s passing occurred on Sunday, September 11th, 2016 at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, NS with his family by his side. Born on December 6th, 1992 he is the son of Tina Branton (Derek Mellish) & Gary and Julie Dixon. Cody is also survived by sisters Callie Dixon & Carlie Dixon, grandparents George and Linda Branton, Clarence and Dora Dixon, Preston and Genevieve Walker, Walter and Carrie MacDonald special friend and stepfather Brent MacDonald, Cody’s memory will forever remain in the heart of his best friend, partner in crime and love of his life Katelyn Johnston, along with a large circle of extended family and those who had the privilege of calling him friend. Cody was predeceased by great-grandparents Bill & Evelyn (Honey) Rolffe, Leonard & Sarah Branton along with great aunt Janice Rolffe. Family will be accepting visitors at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 14 from 4 - 7 p.m. A Memorial Service celebrating Cody’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel following cremation, on Friday, September 16 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the Valleyfield Cemetery.
