Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on Friday, September 16, 2016 at the Waterford Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, James Patrick Butler, aged 75 years. Left with fond and loving memories his loving wife of 52 years Mary (nee Fraize); children James, Wanda (Dan Walters), Dennis and Cory (Leighan); grandchildren Kathleen, Jacob, Zachary, Cameron, Christian, Isabella, Abby and Sammy; great-granddaughter Evangeline; sister Agnes Murphy as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A special thank you to the staff at the Waterford Hospital 2NA for all their care and attention. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, TORBAY. Visitation on Sunday from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 10 a.m. from Holy Rosary Church. Inurnment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Legion Poppy Fund.
