Murray, Muriel Alice, age 97, of North River, passed away peacefully, Friday, September 16, 2016 at home. Born in North River, she was a daughter of the late William and Carrie (MacKenzie) Murray. She was a former employee of Stanfield’s Limited Truro, where she had worked for 48 years. She was predeceased by brother, William D. Murray; sister-in-law, Jessie M. Murray; nephew, Billy Murray; niece, Ruth C. Murray. She is survived by nephew, Don (Coni) Murray; great nieces, Jennifer (Adam) MacLeod, PEI; Stacey and Lindsay, and great nephew, CJ, all of North River; great-great nieces and nephew, Jessie, Katie, and Millage, all of PEI, Madison, North River. A celebration of Muriel’s life will be held 2 pm Tuesday, September 20, at the Robie Street Cemetery Truro, Pastor Ken Fillmore officiating.
