TRENTON – Kenneth David “Kenny” Barnett, 69, Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow, formerly of Trenton, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 in the Manor.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Charles William and Mary Olive (Fraser) Barnett.
Kenny was employed with Trenton Works as a teenager, retiring due to a workplace injury.
Surviving are his partner, Carol Ann Johnson, New Glasgow; daughters, Michelle Francis-Denny (Dominic), Pictou Landing; Amanda Laffin (Steven Spears), New Glasgow; sons, David Barnett, Florence, Oregon; Jason Barnett, Stellarton; Justin Barnett, Trenton; grandchildren, Logan, Oliver, Shyanna, Katrina and Chandler; sisters, Shirley (Gordon) Kellock, Chance Harbour Road; Alice MacKenzie, New Glasgow; Patsy Cook, Trenton; brothers, George “Blackie” (Peggy) Barnett, New Glasgow; Fraser Barnett, Truro; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating.
Donations in Kenny’s memory, if desired, may be given to his family.
