IONA NORMAN


Passed peacefully away at Bonnews Lodge, Badger’s Quay , on Tuesday, Sept 13, 2016; Iona Norman age 93years of Newtown. Predeceased by her late husband William, parents Frank and Fanny Leyte, brothers Edward and Hubert Leyte. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are daughters Betty(Stanley )Carberry and Ruth(Edward) Joy and son Frank(Daphne), grandchildren Brian(Corrina) Carberry, Jerry(Jocelyn)Carberry; Matthew, Katherine and Michael Joy; and David(Fonda), Krista(Corey Hennessey)and Geoffrey(Angela)Norman. Also leaving to mourn are nine great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and a large circle of friends. Funeral service took place Wednesday, Sept 21, 2016 at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Newtown with Rev. Cindy Graham officiating. Interment followed at St. Luke’s Anglican cemetery, Newtown.
