Passed away suddenly after a short illness at the Health Sciences Centre, Laura Squires of St. Phillip's, aged 63 years. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Marjorie Squires, and brothers Douglas and Clarence. Leaving to mourn her partner Clyde Clarke; son Timothy; sisters Christine, Thelma, Lydia, Violet, Rhoda, Edith, and Carol; brother Bob; mother-in-law Marion Clarke; brother-in-law Geoff; sister-in-law Linda; and many nieces, nephews, as well as a large circle of family and friends, including her coworkers from Canada Post. Special thanks to all of the staff at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto. Special thanks to her incredible Dr. David Jones at the Health Sciences Centre, as well as all of the staff at the Waterford Dialysis Unit. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. The family will accept visitors on Friday, September 23rd, 2016 from 2 - 4 p.m, and 7 - 9 p.m, Saturday, September 24th, 2016 from 12 - 9 p.m, and Sunday, September 25th, 2016 from 2 - 4 p.m & 7 - 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 26th, 2016 at 10 a.m in the Carnell Memorial Chapel, with interment to follow in the St. Philip's Anglican Cemetery.
