It is with great sadness that the family of Colby Harris Hynes announces his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL, on Sunday, September 25th, 2016, at the age of 92 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife; Gertrude nee Taylor of 66 years marriage, his children; Lloyd (Barbara), Shirley (Vaden), Joan (Clayton), Maxine (Gary), Fay (Franklin), Betty, David (Carolann), Dennis (Danielle), Gloria (Brian), Wallace (Nancy), and Tammy (Joe), his daughter-in-laws; Gloria, and Nancy, his 30 grandchildren, his 28 great grandchildren, his 7 great great grandchildren, Colby was predeceased by his son's; Wayne, Harry, and Harris, and his parents; Elizabeth and Daniel Hynes. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, on Monday, September 26th, 2016, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and then at St. Michael's and All Angels Anglican Church in Pollard's Pt, NL, for visitation on Tuesday, September 27th, 2016, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Wednesday, September 28th, 2016, at 2:00 pm, with The Venerable Edward King officiating with the burial to follow at the Church Cemetery in Pollard's Pt., NL.
