Walter passed away peacefully on June 30, 2016 in Kelowna at the age of 90. He is survived by Helen Anderson; his son Brian; daughters Judy (Bob) Olson; Sharon (Kevin) Bampfield; Bev (Marcus) Lesseur; grandchildren Sherrie (Brad) Kirkland; Chad Olson; Jessie Bampfield; Katie Lesseur; great-grandchildren Tanner, Brayden & Erin Kirkland; Elise Reban Olson; Helen’s son Ken Anderson; sisters-in-law Stella Stefanski; Donna Schmid; Sunni June Hubbard; numerous nieces and nephews. Walter was predeceased by his wife Coleen, his siblings Stanley Stefanski, Vera Chrabascz and Mary Koldesk. At Walter's request no service was held. Those wishing may make memorial donations to a charity of your choice.
