It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, David Simpson, 72, on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at home. Born in Florence on January 21, 1944, he was the son of the late Robert and Veronica (King) Simpson. He is survived by his brothers, Walter (Janet) and James (Christine); his sister, Shirley Pentecost (Leonard); sisters-in-law, Arlene and Colleen Simpson and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, David was predeceased by brothers, Robert and John and brother-in-law, Arthur Pentecost. To honour his wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016, at 1 p.m. in St. Joseph Cemetery, with Fr. Peter McLeod officiating. There, he will be laid to rest with his mother.
