We, the family of the late Catherine Florence MacDougall, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to our relatives, friends and neighbours for the love and support shown to us during our recent loss. Thank you to everyone who visited our home, phoned, brought food, Mass and Sympathy cards, gave memorial donations and online condolences. Thank you to everyone who attended the wake and Funeral Mass. Thanks to Fr. James Oliver, for the beautiful Mass. Your visits to Catherine at home were greatly appreciated. To the Pastoral Care Committee for their guidance in preparing the Funeral Mass and to Fr. Leo Cordeau for his participation. Thanks to the readers, daughter, Georgina Buffett and daughter-in-law, Betty Lou MacDougall, Eucharistic ministers Harry and Norma Blinkhorn and Marguerite MacLean. Thanks to grandchildren Judith Lawrie, Yvette Serroul and Jonathan MacNeil for the offertory gifts. Grandma would’ve been so proud. To choir director Sharon Iannetti and the choir of Holy Family Parish for the lovely songs. Special thanks to soloist Joe Burton, accompanied by Stewart MacNeil, for his beautiful rendition of “How Great Thou Art”, and to Kyle and Sheumas MacNeil, for the closing song “The Dark Island”. Mama would have loved it, as everyone present did.
