Donna Libbus Curry Beeching

Born In: Sydney Nova Scotia

It is with great sadness that the family of Donna Libbus Curry Beeching, announce her passing, she left our world peacefully on October 8, 2016 surrounded by her family and her many angels that passed before her.
Donna was a kind and gentle warrior who despite being of small stature could be a force to be reckoned with, battling illness and diversity for most of her adult life. During her life, Donna loved many things (some that can't be mentioned here) but her love of family and friends was paramount. She was at her best and happiest when she was around children always acting like the biggest kid of all in their presence. A caregiver to living creatures, she gravitated towards those that were broken or helpless. Many of her working years were spent with handicapped adults and individuals in crises. She loved all animals , always putting food for the stray cats in her neighbourhood and ensuring her bird feeders were never empty. There were many things she enjoyed, her grandchildren, the Bras d'Or Lakes, playing cards, her favorite TV shows and watching birds feed outside her window. As a long time resident of Louisdale, one of her recent favorite past times was to go to Tim Horton's in St. Peter's with her nephew, then with coffee in hand they would drive around the lake or channel to see how many deer and eagles they could spot. Donna was always excited to see each and every one as if it was for the very first time. Born in 1946, Donna is survived by her children, Jamie and Gary ( Julie) of Edmonton AB; Tracey (John) Binns of Vernon BC and Deanna (Bryan) Curry-Punk of Stony Plain AB; Grandchildren, Ryan, Sasha, Gareth, Jackson, MacKenzie, Morgan, Emma, Aspyn and Dax; Siblings, Fabian, Sharon (Sampson), Helena (Sampson) and Nipper.
She was predeceased by her parents, Abie and Babe
(Lyons)Libbus: brother Gary; nephew, Shane Michael Sampson and Carl Sampson. Cremation has taken place and to respect her wishes a funeral will not be held. Instead, there will be a Celebration of Live on Saturday, October 15 at the St. Louis Parish Hall in Louisdale commencing at 11 a.m. Donations can be made in Donna's name to your local Humane Society.
Good-bye our sweet girl, you will be missed forever. Fly away now with your Angels.
