On a beautiful autumn morning with dignity and surrounded by family at home, the passing of Elliott 'Glen' Bruce (65), on Wednesday, October 12th, 2016 took place, 9 days before his birthday. Beloved Hubby of Susan (nee Hammond). Amazing, loving, extraordinary Dad of Samantha, Sarah and Thomas. Proud Boss of cats, Theodore (Mr.T) and Sophie. Son of the late Clive and Pearl Bruce. Son-in-law of the late Terry and Molly Hammond. Loved by his brothers and sisters, David (the late Cindy), Walter (Kathy), Fern (Cor), Gordon (Eve), Iris (Ernest) and Janet (Richard); brother-in-law Glenn Deacon and sister-in-law Gillian (Steve) McLean. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nephews. A very special thank-you for all the kindness and care given by Dr. Berrow and the nurses at the Souris Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to Dingwell Funeral Home. No visitation by personal request. Private Memorial Service to take place at a later date. Due to severe allergies, no flowers please. You are encouraged to plant a tree in Glen's memory.
