Passed peacefully away at The Agnes Pratt Home on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, Florence Ida June Squires, age 82 years. Predeceased by her parents: Abraham and Clara Ford; her birth parents: William and Ida Williams; brother George Williams, Liverpool, UK; sisters: Ruth Stuckless (Martin) and Marjorie Rollman (Gunther); sister-in-law Joan MacVarish. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Douglas Squires; son Darrell Squires (Dara); daughter Jennifer Yanish (Samuel) of Lethbridge, Alberta; grandchildren: Harrison, Teaghan and Emerson Squires, Alyssa Yanish; sisters-in-law: Vera McGarvie (Hugh), Ruby Ryan (William) and Josie Williams, Liverpool, UK; brothers-in-law: Jack Squires (Beverley) and David Squires (Audrey); cousin Muriel Marshall of Clarke's Beach, NL also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation to be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service to be held from St. Augustine's Anglican Church, 1 Westerland Road, St. John's, NL on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at The Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.
