Mrs. Edna Read, beloved wife of Mr. Stan Read of Prince Albert, SK passed away at the age of 90 years on Saturday, October 15, 2016. Edna is survived by her loving family: her husband Stan; her sons Alvin Read and family from Fort St. James, BC; Hughie Read and family of Prince Albert, SK, Earl Read and family of Prince George, BC; Marvin (Jody) Read and family from Prince Albert, SK as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents; one sister; one brother; her mother-in-law and father-in-law; five sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law. Edna was born on March 28, 1926 in Abbey, SK. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, October 21 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Mr. Merv Sundbo will officiate. Interment of cremated remains will take place at the Snowden Cemetery following the lunch. It is the family’s request that those wishing to place memorials may do so to the Pineview Terrace Lodge.
