Born in Montreal, Quebec to Ted and Esmeralda Atkinson.
It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Ted, husband of 69 years to Pat, and father to Gary (deceased) (Susan) of Moncton, Tim (Linda) of Gibsons, and Greg (Sharon) of Winnipeg. Ted was grandfather to Ryan, Jeremy, Katherine and James, and great-grandfather to Brenden, Bradley, Nikolas, Sienna, Dylan, Erin and Annabella.
Ted worked for over 30 years for 3M Company as Eastern Canada's Sales Manager in the printing products division. Prior to 3M Company, he had a brief career as an appraiser with Fraser Brothers Auctioneers in Montreal.
After retiring to life at Isle Cadieux, Quebec, where most of our family (sons, uncles, aunts, cousins, dogs, etc.), all enjoyed those wonderful summers on the lake. He and Mom eventually moved to Davis Bay on the Sunshine Coast for the last 17 years.
His accomplishments in life are too many to list here. He was a very good man and will be deeply missed by all of us and all who knew him.
A celebration of Ted's life will be announced at a later date.
