Passed away Friday, September 23, 2016 in the presence of her loving family in Lincoln, NB after a courageous battle with cancer, aged 66 years. Predeceased by her husband Ernest, parents Hannah and Patrick, brother Donald, brother-in-law Kevin, and other members of the Finlay and Butler families. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Tracy (Alain), and son Damian; grandson Alex; sisters Agnes and Phyllis (Andrew); sister-in-law Bertha. Also leaving to mourn many very special nieces, nephews, and a large circle of other family and friends. Memorial mass will take place 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Church of the Holy Redeemer, Trepassey, NL. Helena was a woman with a wonderful soul, a joyous sense of humour, and a generous heart for everyone she met. She will be forever remembered with a smile and a laugh. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice.
