Passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Kenny's Pond Retirement Home at the age of 99 years. Predeceased by her husband Gordon Pope, son Gordon Pope, husband Cyril Thornhill and adopted daughter Christina Ho. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughters: Joan Scott (Walter) and Margaret Buschman (Bill); grandchildren: Wayne (Heidi), Sharon, Keith (Tracey), Louis (Lira) and Aletha (Craig); great-grandchildren: Joshua (Emily), Matthew (Sarah), Rebecca, Danon, Bethany and Anderson; special friends The Penney Family; also leaving to mourn other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday, October 24 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place at Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, October 25 at 11 am, interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. No flowers by request.
