It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of M. Florence House at Corner Brook Long Term Care on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 83 years of age. Left to mourn are her loving husband of 63 years, James, sons Spencer (Irene), Roger, Byron, grandchildren Kathleen (Shaun Pearson), Thomas, and Louis, and sister Jessie Allen plus several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Hannah Banks, brothers Alfred, Foster, Frederick, Allan and sister Mildred. Visitation at St. James Anglican Church in Gillams, Wednesday and Thursday, October 26 and 27 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 from where the funeral service will be on Friday, October 28 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Meadows. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
