Tanner, Robert Ivan “Bobby”, age 61, Brookside Road went to be with our Lord on October 24, 2016. He was a son of the late Ivan and Irene (Wagner) Tanner. Bobby is survived by sister, Marie McLeod, Stewiacke; nephews, Douglas (Tracey) McLeod and their children, Jess and Morgan, all of Hilden, Fred (Sonya) McLeod and their son, Alexander, all of St. John’s, NL and loving foster parents, David Leedham, Leo and Linda MacIsaac. A graveside service will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery, Stewiacke East on Saturday, October 29 at 11:00 am followed by an informal gathering at the home of Marie McLeod in Stewiacke to share their special memories of Bobby. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of choice. A loving and caring soul, he is “Safe in the arms of Jesus”.
