On Friday, October 28, 2016, Mary Jane Norman passed away after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 61 years. A wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, Mary Jane will be forever remembered by her children, Catherine (Mark Lundrigan) and Albert (Leslie Norman), grandchildren, Lydia and Sam, by her sisters and brother, Vianne (Roger), Gail (Mike), and Sam (Rhonda), by her brothers-in-law, Alan (Betty),Barry (Cynthia), Jim (Carol), her sister-in-law, Sarah (Wayne), her mother-in-law Barbara, and her aunt, Effie Petten. Predeceased by her husband Albert, father, Clarence, and mother Mary. Mary Jane will also be fondly remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. Mary Jane was very active in her grandchildren's lives, was very kind and giving, thoroughly involved in her church, and will be truly missed by all. Resting at Broughton's Funeral Home, Brigus on Saturday, October 29th from 10am-9pm and then on Sunday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral service to be held at the Anglican Parish of The Resurrection on Sunday, October 30, at 2:00 p.m.. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Cupids.
