It is with heartfelt sorrow on October 28 at St Clare's Mercy Hospital that we said goodbye to our beloved mother. We were blessed to have her as our rock and guiding light throughout our lives. Leaving to endeavour to carry on her legacy of kindness are her children: Roxanne (Joe Furfaro), Ramona, Tim (Charline Gauguin), and Reni (Aidan Nolan). Also left to celebrate her remarkable life are her beloved grandchildren Kim, and from our extended family (Barbara and Denis Barry) Luke, Colin and Elizabeth all of whom she loved with a passion, along with her great-grandchildren: Jack, Holly, and new addition Eve. We are saddened to part from Mom for our time on earth but we are assured that she is welcomed into the family of angels and saints. Her unwavering devotion to her faith and her exemplary life of performing acts of kindness have indeed ensured this honor. Her life has indeed been inspirational and an example to all who knew her on how to faithfully serve God and treat everyone she met with kindness. Her grace and generosity of spirit will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Dr. Phair and the nurses and staff on 6 west ward of St. Clares for their empathy and kindness during this stressful time for our family. Rest well. We will be reunited with you after our short journey is over. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation on Sunday from 6-9 pm and Monday from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 10 am from Holy Trinity Church with interment to follow at the Old RC Cemetery, Torbay. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House, Daffodil Place, or a charity of your choosing.
