Suddenly, on October 21, 2016, at his home in Toronto, Ontario, Francis J. Blanchard, 71, (formerly of Rustico) passed away. Francis is survived by his siblings, Bernie Nelson, Cedric (Kathy), Mary Gauthier (Peter), Jeanette, Cathy Morrell (Greg Bryant) and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the son of the late Allan and Georgina Blanchard. Predeceased by his brother Edward and his brothers-in-law Robert Nelson and John Morrell. Cremation has taken place in Toronto, Ontario. No visitation by personal request. Memorial Mass to take place at St. Augustine's Church, Rustico, on November 5, 2016, at 10:30 a.m.
