Card of Thanks
Caroline Paruch
We, the family of the late Caroline (Gromick) Paruch wish to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to our family, friends, co-workers and neighbours, who provided us with great support and kindness during our sudden loss. For those who called, visited, sent food, cards, online condolences, flowers or made donations in mom’s memory we are forever grateful. To Aunt Flo, Uncle Joe, Aunt Rita and Sandra Madinsky thank you for being at Mom’s side.
We want to express a sincere thank you to the paramedics, the staff of the E.R. at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, especially Laura Lee Sharp, Charlynn Cox and Dr. Jason Osborne. Your professionalism and compassion will forever be remembered. To the special nurses of ICU, Wayne Fraser, Kathleen Debison, Andrew Reynolds, Blair Roach, Melissa Anderson and Melanie Gallant, your individual acts of kindness shown to Mom or her family meant more than words can express. To Dr. C. Critchley, a sincere thank you for your friendship and compassion shown to Mom over the years.
To the wonderful staff of Curry’s Funeral Home whose guidance and support helped immensely during this difficult time, we thank you. We also would like to thank Father Lamey for your comforting words and for playing her favourite hymn at her funeral, St. Theresa’s Choir for the beautiful music and Rose Conahan for the delicious lunch. To sister-in-law Rita Gromick for the lovely readings and granddaughter Emily for the intentions. To the honorary Pallbearers; Sue Currie, Betty Somers and Jean MacDonald a special thank you. Finally to the many members of the Nurses Honour Guard, we are humbled and grateful for your presence. Mom was forever proud to have been a nurse.
We will forever love and miss our beautiful Mom and Grandmother.
Sincerely, Laurie, Joanie and families.
