Yim Wah Jew (Woo) - 81, of South China passed away peacefully October 29, 2016 at Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, NS. Yim Wah was the daughter of the late Ping Tos Woo and Fun Hai Mah, wife of the late Mow Hing Jew. She is survived by her brother Wai Keung Anthony Woo, Toronto; children: William, Toronto; Mamie (Stephen Foote), Halifax; Marion (Steven Davies), Kingston; Harold (Carol Szeto), Oshawa; Shirley, Stony Plain, and eight grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A memorial Service is being held at St. Paul’s United Church 173 old Sambro Rd, Halifax; Nov 2, at 2:30pm and the burial will take place at Robie St Cemetery, Truro on Nov 3, at 9:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul’s United Church.
