Jack Donald Cobb, 80, most recently of Lathrop Village and Middlefield, Massachusetts, died peacefully after a long illness. Jack was born on July 17, 1936, on Prince Edward Island, the fifth child of James and Janet McNulty Cobb. After a successful career as an Interior designer in New York City, he retired with his life-partner, Roy Haapala, to Middlefield, Massachusetts. He also shared his life with English sheep dogs; the latest, Mr. Darcy, predeceasing him by five months. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. November 5th at Middlefield graveyard with a simple reception afterwards at the Middlefield church hall. It is Don's wish to be cremated and placed beside his husband, Roy.
