Passed peacefully away at Pleasant View Towers on October 31, 2016, Frank McDonald, aged 90 years. Frank was the eldest son of John and Isabel McDonald of Portugal Cove Road. Predeceased by his wife Regina, 1994; brother Tommy and sister Catherine. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his two daughters Linda and Sheila (Ray); grandchildren Melanie (Shane) and Christopher Renae and Jeffrey; siblings Mary, Margaret, Isabel, Helen (Pat), Gerry (Dora) and Bren; brothers and sisters-in-law Emma, France, Marie (Don) and Richard (Marg); and a large circle of family and friends. The family would like to send a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and personal care staff of Pleasant View Towers 3NW for their care and compassion shown towards Frank. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Friday, November 4 from 2-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, November 5 at 10 a.m. from Mary Queen of Peace with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
