David MacAulay

We regret to announce the passing of David MacAulay, age 76 at home on October 20, 2016. David was the son of the late Bernard and Mildred (Carroll) MacAulay. David graduated from Dalhousie University and the Nova Technical College as an Electrical Engineer. He worked at Sydney Steel then went on to study in California. David returned home to care for his ailing parents. David had many hobbies including golf, the Gun Club and Historical Society. David was a true gentleman and a man of great integrity. He is survived by his cousin, Gerald MacDonald (Gloria), also by family of the late Ronald MacDonald (wife Kaye), Karen (Tom) and Paul and many more cousins out of town and across Canada.
There will be no visitation. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 7 at 11 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Church with Rev. Dennis Lamey officiating. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
