We, the family of the late Frances (Fricker) Donovan, would like to express our sincere thank you to all those who called, visited, sent sympathy, Memorial and Mass cards and brought food to our home. Your kindness and thoughtfulness will always be remembered. We wish to thank Father Leo Boone for saying Mass, Stephen MacGillivary and Sean Donovan for doing the readings and Alice MacLeod for the music and songs. A special thanks to Palliative Care Dr. George Burns, R.N.’s Rochelle, Lori and Lynn and the Cape Breton VON’s Nancy, Chris, Lorne, Jenny, Amanda and Shelly. Thank you to the staff and volunteers at the An Cala Palliative Care Unit 4(A) at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for the genuine care and compassion you provided Frances and our family. Finally to the staff at V.J. McGillivrary Funeral Home, Kenny, Cordel and Clayton for being so helpful during this time of sorrow.
