Margaret Florence Swistun
We, the family of Margaret Florence Swistun, wish to express our deepest gratitude to our friends, family and neighbours for their love and support. A special thank you to the paramedics and staff of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. We would like to extend our appreciation to Fr. Roman of The Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, the pallbearers Ben Dobbin, Steve Magis, Nick Magis, Michael Bren, Mike Barrington and Ted Lawrence and to the Women’s Club for the honour guard and the delicious refreshments at the reception. Thank you to all who attended the beautiful funeral service, to those who travelled at a distance; to all who sent cards, donations, flowers and food to the house and in so many ways provided much needed support at this time. A special gratitude is extended to Flo’s grandchildren, Stacy and Peter Swistun and Emily Bushell for honouring “Nanny” with their loving words and involvement within the Funeral Mass. Also, thank you to Donna Swistun for reading during the service. We wish to thank Bill Curry and staff of TW Curry Parkview Chapel for their kindness and compassion during our time of sorrow.
