Passed peacefully away at St. Luke's Nursing Home on Saturday, November 5, 2016, Florence Bellows, just 13 days short of her 101st birthday. Predeceased by her husband, Earl Bellows (1998); infant daughter, Florence Jeanie (1942); son, John (2007); daughter-in-law, Loretta (2007); and brother-in-law, Ralph (1997). Leaving to mourn with precious memories of our loving mother, her son Rev. Robert Bellows (Debbie); her devoted daughters: Dolly (Dave) Hall, Grace (Bill) Peet, Rose Hood, Debbie (Wayne) Winsor; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; her only sister, Phyllis Squires; as well as her St. Luke's Family. The Bellows family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Dr.'s, Nurses, and staff from St. Luke's Nursing Home for their continuous love, compassion and care. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Sunday, November 6, and Monday, November 7, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 2:00pm from Barrett's Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the SPCA (honouring Florence's love of cats) or to St. Luke's Nursing Home.
