Passed peacefully away at home in the presence of her loving family, Catherine Jarvis, aged 66 years. Leaving behind with broken hearts her beloved husband of 50 years Don; children Donald Joseph (Rose), Linda Turley (Patrick), Tammy Jarvis-Anstey (Kenneth) and Krista Jarvis-Murray (Gerald); 4 handsome grandsons Stephen, Daniel, Patrick and Gabriel Jarvis; 3 amazing granddaughters Meghan, Kendelle and McKaylia Anstey; the light of her life grandson Kalem Jarvis-Murray; and 1 great grandchild; special friends Mary Kerrivan and Dawn Doody; also a large circle of many nieces and nephews, other family members and friends. A special thank you to Ambulatory Care Team at the HSC; Dr. David Jones, Dr. Jacklyn Costello, Dr. Grandy and Dr. MacIntyre for their care and support shown towards Catherine. Also to the Transplant team in Nova Scotia, Dr. Sparrow Bella and Dr. Kubin. Words cannot express how grateful we are towards everyone in Catherine's life during the last few years, especially Dr. Bill Eaton in the last few weeks. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 12 noon until 9 p.m. Christian Mass will be held at The Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Thursday November 10, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. with cremation to follow.
