It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Lakeside Homes, Gander on Thursday, November 3, 2016 Douglas Goodyear age 95 years of Lumsden. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Sadie Goodyear; wife Nellie Goodyear; sisters Laura, Doris and Phyllis. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his son Calvin Goodyear (Rose) of Gander; daughter Beverly Gair (Kenneth) of Paradise; grandchildren Aimee (Jonathan) and Vicki (Morgan); great-grandchildren Kate and Ben; brother-in-law Wesley Templeman of Gander; and a large circle of other relatives and friends, especially the Lumsden congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Funeral service took place at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Lumsden on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 3 p.m. with Mr. Leslie Stokes officiating.
