We have lost a beautiful soul. Celia is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bud Fisher, and children Diane (Larry) Penonzek, Kathy (Bill) Grisenthwaite, Guy (Judy) Fisher, Glen (Joanne) Fisher and Carolyn (Leigh) Yochlowitz. She adored and was adored by grandchildren Mark (Jaime), Paul (Laureen), Drew (Britt), Bryn (Jeff), Jared (Leila), Lauren, Trevor, Tyson, Cassandra, Brett, Shelby and Riley; and great-grandchildren Baylee, Addy, Reiss, Avery, Kenzie, Grayson and Ben.
Celia dearly loved her family, taking any opportunity to gather us around. She was selfless and loved unconditionally. Celia cherished her friendships and had a way of keeping people close. She always had time for others and had a way of making everyone feel special. Her gifts of baking brightened up many lives!
Celia was passionate about her community, especially issues concerning children. She worked tirelessly for many decades and many causes to make it a better place for all. A strong advocate for the Gibsons and Area Community Centre, it gave her great joy to stop in and see it being well attended.
A life well lived - what a gift we were given.
