We, the family of the late Robert MacIntosh would like to express our sincere gratitude to our family, friends, neighbours and Rob’s co-workers for the outpouring of love and remembrances shared with us during our recent and sudden loss of Rob.
Thank you all who telephoned, visited, brought food to our homes, sent cards, flowers, memorial donations, monetary gifts, attended the visitation and funeral. A special thanks to those who traveled to be with us at this extremely difficult and sad time.
We would like to thank NSCC and Rodney Richards for the beautiful tribute to Rob. We are sure Rob was flashing that “light up the room” smile of his as the story unfolded. It was very comforting for us to hear how staff and students alike remembered Rob.
Also our thanks goes out to Dr. Paul MacDonald and trauma nurses at CBRH who worked so hard for Robert with care and compassion, to Father MacGillivary for the prayers offered for Rob. To the Inspirational Singers, Aaron Lewis, Brenda Tomie with Joan MacIntosh for the music during the service and to Rob’s daughter Ashley for doing the reading. Our thanks to Rev. Sheldon Chant for a beautiful service and to Jillian and staff for the gentle guidance and compassion shown to us during this difficult time.
To all those listed above and to all who gave us comfort and support during this difficult time, we are eternally grateful.
