Maurice (Moe) Devoe

We regret to announce the sudden passing of Maurice (Moe) Devoe, 63, at home on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. Moe was the son of the late Florence Ross McCormick and Charles (Sonny) Devoe. Moe was a member of the Labourers Union and the Iron Workers Union. He worked many years in Fort McMurray, but his heart was always in Cape Breton with his mother. Moe is survived by his sisters, Arthena and Debra.
Besides his parents, Moe was predeceased by his brothers, Michael, Raymond and Richard and by his sisters, Arlene and Dolena. Cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral service. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2016, from 7-9 p.m. in J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main St., Sydney Mines.
