It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James (Jim) Charles Morrison November 14, 2016 at May Court Palliative Care Unit, Ottawa at the age of 76 years. Jim was born in Pleasant Grove, PEI Jan. 16, 1940 to the late Hubert and Margaret (Hughes) Morrison. He lived in Ottawa his entire adult life and summered in Pleasant Grove PE. He was a proud graduate of St. Dunstan's University 1962 and worked as a teacher and principal in the Ottawa Catholic School Board for many years. Jim was predeceased by his loving wife Mary (Fox) of Ottawa in 2004. He is survived by his four loving children, Jamie ((Fiona) of Scotland, Kelly (Colin) Barker of Ottawa, Chris (Leanne) of BC, and Kate (Jimmy Cox) of Ottawa. He was the proud grandfather of Callum and Euan Morrison of Scotland, Thea and Owen Barker of Ottawa and Nolan and Dylan Morrison of British Columbia. He is survived by his brothers Norbert (Marion) of Pleasant Grove PE, Fred (Pat) of Covehead PE, Frank (Geri) Charlottetown PE, and sister Rosemary (Frank) Butler Pleasant Grove PE, sisters in law Elizabeth Morrison and Krystyna Morrison of Charlottetown PE and Mary's sisters Suzanne, Norah, Georgina and Claire of Ottawa. He was predeceased by brothers Edward Morrison and Hubert (Hubie) Morrison and nieces Paulette Morrison, Belinda Jamieson and nephew Ritchie Morrison.
