Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on November 22, 2016 at the age of 52 years. Survived by her common-law spouse of 25 years David Gosse and beloved son Tyler of St. John's. Predeceased by her loving parents James and Laura Pender. Left with loving memories are her sisters: Valerie (John) of Montreal and Jamie of Toronto; mother-in-law Bertha (predeceased father-in-law John Charles) of St. John's; sister-in-law Judy (Kevin) of Mount Pearl; brothers-in-law: Scott (Debbie) and Jeff (Janet) of Corner Brook; special cousin and friend Gina of St. John's; niece Laura (Rick) of Brockville; nephews: Paul (Allie) and Zak (Stephanie) of Montreal, many wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins and great-nieces and nephews. Special mention to Uncle Clary and Aunt Terry, close friend Major Wheeler of the Salvation Army Citadel, her work family/ friends at N.G.A and the amazing doctors and nurses at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Sunday from 7-9 pm and on Monday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Barrett's Chapel on Tuesday 11 am. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lorraine's memory may be made to the Dr. H.
