We, the family of the late Veronica (Troicuk) Simms, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to family, friends’ and everyone who helped us through this most difficult time. Thank you to all who phoned, sent flowers, Mass cards, memorial and monetary donations in Veronica’s memory, as well to all who brought food and shared in beautiful stories about Veronica that brought a smile to us in a time of great sorrow. Sincere thanks to Doctors Jensen, Ritter and D’Intino and to the staff and An Cala Palliative Care Unit for the compassionate care shown to Veronica and the support given to her family. Also thank to the special friends who sat with and offered comfort to Veronica during her illness. We are forever grateful to the honorary pallbearers, Brian Shaw, Michael Yorke, Bill Kuta, Jean Allen, Helen Simms and Josie Dacheau. Readers, Jean Allen, Charlotte Shaw and Brittany MacKay. Also for the friends of the Manor for the honor guard. We thank Father Norman MacPhee for his support and kind words during the beautiful service honoring Veronica’s life. Thank you to the Holy Cross Choir and the ladies auxiliary for the lovely luncheon following Veronica’s service. Finally we thank MacGillivary’s Funereal Home and staff for their professionalism and support in making this process as easy as possible for us all.
